The Libra New Moon falls on September 28th and opens a gateway to healing and transformation.
The Libra New Moon is also a Super Moon, which means we feel its effects more strongly. It also happens to fall on the same day that Saturn aligns directly over the South Node and the soul-healing asteroid, Chiron is also very active too, indicating this New Moon may bring some upheavals and challenges, but also a lot of growth.
Libra rules over the sign of Venus, so this New Moon is also likely to trigger our relationships and encourage us to look at our attitudes and behaviors when it comes to the connections in our lives. The relationships we keep can be very revealing to us when it comes to the journey and lessons our soul is here to work through.
Under this New Moon, we may be guided to think about how we can create healthier bonds and connections with others, either by setting boundaries or showing gratitude towards our loved ones.
If a relationship has been challenging or difficult, this New Moon may also inspire us to move on for good or to approach the challenges in a new way. Sometimes challenging people cross our path in order to awaken, activate, and strengthen a part of our soul. Sometimes these people also serve as wake-up calls to help us find our true path and true calling.
New Moons always open a portal to a new reality so if there are any challenges with a particular person in your life, set an intention, work on finding love and forgiveness in your heart, and see if this energy can help shift you to a new level of action or awareness.
The September New Moon also comes at a sensitive time of year as it is close to the Equinox. The Equinox is one of those times in the year where the veil between dimensions is thin and we can move into a higher state of consciousness with more ease.
All around us things are in change. The seasons are changing and Mother Nature is transforming herself. She is shedding or blossoming, letting go or creating new life. She is in transition, and we may feel that parts of our lives are in transition too.
Under this energy, we can retreat within, cross the veil and find a new part of ourselves that is ready to be re-birthed.
The energy of manifestation is also going to be strong around this New Moon, so we can use it to think about something we wish to bring in or create in our lives.
We have just three months of the year to go, what do you want to achieve? What do you want 2019 to be about for you? What last actions can you take to make this year one that feels good to you?
Libra is represented by the scales, and is the only zodiac sign to have an inanimate object as its symbol.
As the keeper of the scales, Libra is a figure for justice and for balance, and while all of these energies are with us during the New Moon, there is a deeper sense of balance being conjured here too.
Libra is the 7th sign of the zodiac and being ruled by the number 7 also gives Libra a spiritually charged quality.
While Libra energy wants us to find a sense of balance when it comes to addressing our needs and the needs of others, it also wants us to find balance between this world and the next.
We are a soul having a human experience and remembering this balance between the physical reality we see and the spiritual reality that we are, under this somewhat volatile New Moon may come in handy. We are here for a temporary journey, Earth is not our true home. We are visitors here and so too are the experiences that happen to us and the emotions that greet us.
How The September 2019 New Moon Will Affect Your Zodiac Sign
Summer is officially over on Sept. 23, and less than a week later we’ll be graced with the dark night of the first new moon cycle since the autumnal equinox. The September 2019 new moon will reach its peak on Sept. 28 in the diplomatic and harmony-lovin’ sign of Libra — where the sun is also currently residing (that means it’s Libra season,). This new moon is going to feel romantic, exciting, flexible, and social, so we can look forward to a reprieve after September’s last major moon, the full moon in Pisces, which felt quite heavy, emotional, and confusing.
The new moon is in Libra, and as a cardinal air sign, Libra energy is creative and mentally focused. Libra is perhaps the most partnerships-oriented sign of the whole zodiac, as it’s constantly seeking out balance and diplomacy. This is partially due to the lovely Venus being its ruling planet, making love, romance, beauty, and aesthetics important parts of a Libran focus — and a major thematic influence over September’s new moon energy. Planet Venus will also be sharing a sign with this new moon (meaning it’s super cozy in its home sign of Libra!), which will bring an extra romantic, flirty, and fun energy to the moon.
The Libra New Moon will bring us major insight into how we want to partner — both romantically, professionally, and with friends. We will be making decisions about relationships and how we commit under this moon.
If you want to know how the September 2019 new moon will affect each zodiac sign, that’s great, because below are the answers! Check out what’s in store for your sun sign under the sweet, fun, and romantic energy of the upcoming dark moon.
Aries (March 21 – April 19)
Romance is on the brain for many of us under this new moon, Aries, so don’t be surprised if you feel like the living embodiment of the heart-eyes emoji. Love is in the forefront of your mind, But look out: With both the moon and sun opposite your sign during this moon, you might be feeling the intrigue on hyper-drive, making you slightly irrational. Think carefully before you lean into a commitment,
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
With both the moon and your ruling planet Venus in social, diplomatic Libra, you’ll be feeling much more social than you have been lately — and you’ll find that this manifests itself at work, of all places. Acquaint yourself with your co-workers now. You will bond over happy hour. You may find that your colleagues offer more significant connections for you than you previously thought, so open yourself up to their company.
Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
All the intellectually-stimulating energy of Libra season leaves a fellow air sign like you feeling buoyant, fresh, and full of ideas under this new moon. A new creative project will leave you feeling close with intellectuals. You’re in the process of developing your own tribe of creative, like-minded individuals, and the fresh-start energy of the new moon will boost up a new and exciting endeavor.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
Your family unit — whatever that looks like for you — hasn’t been the hearth-y haven that you’d like it to be. But as we enter the season of the harvest and begin a fresh lunar cycle with this new moon, it’s time to strengthen the bonds that have come a bit loose over the past months. Reunite with your family to become closer . You’re a creature of comfort, so work on creating your social support system.
Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22)
You’ve been on your hot summer grind and your career life has been booming with opportunities, ideas, and a fully hectic schedule. Kick off autumn’s first lunar cycle with a break from the crazy train. Take a road trip with friends to alleviate work stresses. A little time outside your usual routine with the people who get you for you will shift your perspective and leave you feeling refreshed.
Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22)
As this new moon shares a sign with Venus, planet of money and luxury, you’ll notice a fresh take on a money situation that will feel like a new beginning. A new financial investment will leave you feeling happy, shares. You’ve made some money moves over the past moon cycle, and with this one, a glittering door will finally swing open, revealing to you all that may soon come to fruition. Feel hopeful.
Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22)
This is your new moon, Libra, and will all the planetary energy currently focused in your home sign, it’s no surprise that the stars are calling on you to hone in on one important area of your life: you. Spend time cultivating the relationship you have with yourself . After all, it’s the most important one. It’s easy to constantly distract yourself with others, but it’s time to cut through the static and hold space for the inner you with a clear connection.
Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)
This new moon is a manifesting moon for you, Scorpio. Retreat from the distractions of your daily grind in order to focus on your deepest desires. What do you hope will materialize in your life over the coming moon cycle? The coming season? The coming year? Take time to mediate on what you want to create with others. Your ability to create reality is strong, so don’t sleep on your super powers.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)
Social butterfly that you are, you’ve spent a lot of time through the past summer making connections among friends, colleagues, and your community — which is great! But as we approach this new moon and embark on the season of the harvest, you’ll want to start separating the wheat from the shaft, so to speak. It’s time to evaluate your friendships and make decisions about who you want to keep in your life.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19)
Career highlights are on the horizon, and the ever-balanced Libra new moon is offering you a glimpse at the excitement and collaborative energy that’s soon to come. A new job may bring you all the glitz and glamour you crave now. Glam yourself up and prepare yourself for the spotlight. You’ve been working toward a change of energy work-wise, and this moon brings a sense of having moved over another hurdle and come a step closer.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)
With the new moon in fellow air sign Libra, you’ll find the many thoughts swirling through your head traveling straight to your tongue — which, yes, makes you more social, but also brings concerns. Talk is cheap, so make sure your actions and words match up. It might be easier than usual to get carried away and say too much given the unpredictable Uranus influence over this moon, so call on Libra’s sense of balance to tame your tongue.
Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20)
Money struggles have plagued you through the past season, but with this new moon and Venus’ glittering, luxurious influence, you’ll feel inspired to rethink the way you deal with your finances. It’s time to start a new relationship with money. Create a new financial plan for yourself. The fresh-start energy of the new moon brings a burst of both energy and clarity of mind that will help you get the ball rolling.
Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019 at 12:33 a.m. EDT (4:33 UTC), but the moon will appear full the night before which is Friday the 13th
**************(EVIL LAUGH)****************
The sun is currently in analytical, grounded Virgo, so many of us may be feeling driven to clean up any messes, get down to business, and reorganize various areas of our lives. But this full moon, on the other hand, will be in ethereal, dreamy Pisces — inspiring us to rely more on our intuition than our knowledge, and to spend our days in a daydream rather than focusing on our responsibilities. Sooooo, we’ll be feeling the classic full moon friction as our bright star and its counterpart occupy opposing astrological spaces.
Moon in Pisces has the greatest sensitivity and perceptiveness of surroundings. You can experience feelings of insecurity, be passive and only wait and see what happens in your life. If you engage in creative or spiritual search, you will benefit from great imagination of Pisces.
This full moon in particular is riddled with several significant planetary aspects taking place simultaneously that will both challenge and enhance this Piscean energy — and Pisces’ ruling planet Neptune is one of the major players. Neptune (planet of dreams and illusions) will be conjunct the moon (meaning they’ll be right next to each other in the same sign) — which in Pisces, can get us all up in our feelings (and enhance our ~psychic sensibilities~ for sure), but can also make us feel hazy and confused about what’s reality and what’s just in our head. Neptune will also be quarreling with both Jupiter and Mars, which can make us susceptible to delusions and also slash our confidence.
This full moon will bring deceptions to light and make us question our belief system. Illusive Neptune will be a key player, igniting fears and phobias within. It’s a little rough, but it’s not all bad: The flip side is that we can inspire ourselves to heal and transform through this cosmic energy, if we are open to growth,
This is not a negative thing. It’s more like watching a movie and being moved to tears – a lot of tears! It’s nice sometimes, to cry it out. But beware because it will enhance those sensitive situations you are trying to deal with !
Ready, set, brace yourselves for the final full moon of this year’s summer season: The September 2019 full moon in Pisces. The singular full moon of Virgo season 2019 will rise in the skies on Sept. 14, and it’s bringing with it a whole bunch of vibes: Good ones, bad ones, but undoubtedly transformative ones. Of course, this September full moon will affect all zodiac signs differently, so it’s important to know where your sign stands.
Aries (March 21 – April 19)
This Pisces full moon is likely to bring some clarity and answers to questions that have been on your mind. Have things felt a bit nebulous lately? Perhaps there are even questions pertaining to your day job. Your intuition is also heightened at this time, so trust your inner voice, and be open to knowledge as it presents itself, no matter how unexpected.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
This Pisces full moon sees your socializing turned up a notch. Perhaps you’re even feeling an inner battle between allowing yourself enough time to fulfill your hearts passions and creative endeavors vs. making time with friends. Virgo season is a wonderful time of year to make a schedule, so stick to it — and you’ll have enough time for festive gatherings as well as your personal pursuits.
Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
This Pisces full moon is about to have a mother lode of knowledge as far as your career is concerned. Are you happy with your job? Are you having a hard time managing your work vs. your home and familial obligations?. The moon is putting these topics in the spotlight. As your ruler Mercury travels through Virgo, you may even find great clarity surrounding these issues if you write your thoughts out.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
Cancer, you enjoy the calmness of silence, of soft-spoken moments, but this Pisces full moon sees your communication and expression amplified! Thinking of taking a class, going on a trip, or expanding your circle? This Pisces full moon will put your voice and self-expression to the test, encouraging you to share it with others during the tail end of this productive Virgo season.
Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22)
Leo, the Pisces full moon is likely to bring clarity relating to your finances. Have you been spending too much, wondering if you’ll be approved for a loan, or even waiting to hear about that raise? Your mind is on the money this full moon, and more information is on its way, as you use the last days of Virgo season to help solidify your foundation.
Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22)
This Pisces full moon wants you to take a break from your schedule and spend some time focusing on your relationships. Are your needs being met? What about the needs of others, those who play centrifugal roles in your life? Do they know they’re appreciated?.It may be time to channel your ruler Mercury and your strong analytic intellect, and talk (or write — in true Virgo form) it out.
Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22)
Virgo season has got you focused and ready to implement positive changes in your life, and this full moon (along with your lovely ruling planet Venus having just moved into your sign today), is inspiring you to pamper your soul — as you deserve. You’re stepping up your daily vibe by implementing mindful meditation or yoga into your life, explains. This will help heal your mind, body, and spirit.
Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)
With a full moon in a fellow water sign, one thing is clear: You’re in your feelings. Everything else, though? Well, you might be feeling’ delusional. An old romance may come your way again. The question is, do you want to go there again? Has the situation changed? Remember that Neptune’s influence over this full moon is making it hard to see things clearly, so beware of your own misjudgments.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)
Lately you’ve been getting more comfortable in the driver’s seat of the zippy red sports car that is your life — but this full moon is making it hard to maintain a sense of balance and clear direction. Finding a personal and work balance will be hard, However, with careful planning you can do it. Call on the ever-organized Virgo sun energy (and your own fiery willpower) to overcome the lunar haze.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19)
As in-control and powerfully discerning as you usually are, the energy of this full moon has upped the likelihood of you being deceived — especially when it comes to rumors. Watch out for gossip that’s not true! Don’t let it cause stresses in relationships with others. Take what you hear with a grain of salt. If you’re feeling’ some type of way based on hearsay, let the full moon wear off before you act.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)
You’re not always the most in touch with your emotions, but under this full moon, you might find yourself feeling more — as if all your precious emotions came out to play at once without an ounce of armor on to protect them. Setting boundaries is essential now, as is understanding the emotional limits of others. Use this raw vulnerability to tap into your emotional intelligence and strength.
Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20)
A full moon just for you, sweet Pisces! Of course it’s going to be intense (and with your ruling planet Neptune forming all kinds of intense aspects, you can guarantee it), but it’s also going to be the catalyst for a whole new version of you to emerge. You’re now questioning your own beliefs, which will serve to help you see your truest visions. Follow your intuition — now and into the coming season.
SOOOO MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ASKING ME WTH IS GOING ON? #$%^& ! COMPELLING ME TO ANSWER:
This week, we’ve got a little something-something going on – and likely not the good kind of something-something! As you know, we’ve got a pile of planets in Virgo (PERFECTION, OCD) right now (Sun: PERSONALITY, Mercury: COMMUNICATION, Venus: LOVE, and Mars: AGRESSION. Those planets are going to oppose Neptune(UNDERWORLD) in Pisces (DREAMY, UNREALISTIC) and square (hard aspect, 3 signs away) Jupiter (EXCESS) in Sagittarius (HIGHER MIND) this week (well the Sun, Mercury, and Venus will; Mars will next week so it’ll extend a little). You know what that means? Mutable t-square madness!
That stellium will begin to break up over the next few days but as planets move deeper into Virgo, the’ll form Mutable T-Square with a twist. This – Mercury, Jupiter and Neptune are all in their home signs.
A t-square occurs when a planet opposes another and both square a third planet. There can be more than 3 planets involved (6 in this case). T-squares are major energy, with the opposing planets ganging up on the squared planet, funneling all of their energy to that planet. And we’re usually missing the energy of the sign that the squared planet opposes to our detriment.
Then, right around midnight on Friday the 13th, we’ve got a full moon in Pisces that’s not going to be denied.
I realize Pisces is not generally pushy like that but I think you’ll see what I mean. Particularly Interesting & Marvelous! (( OR NOT ))
NOT YOUR CIRCUS! NOT YOUR MONKEYS !
That’s it. That’s all I’ve got.
DROPS MICROPHONE. SHRUGS SHOULDERS. EXITS STAGE LEFT.
