The card drawn for this week is the Five of Cups.

Did things not go as expected?

The Five of Cups often appears when a situation hasn’t turned out the way you expected, and you are sad, regretful, and disappointed.

Instead of moving on, you may be choosing to wallow in self-pity. Maybe all you can focus on is what went wrong and how you failed.

This is a gentle nudge that it’s time to move on! Allow yourself to feel the feels, but set a time limit for the self-pity and then pull yourself together and move on.

The negative emotions you feel are holding you back from your fullest potential. Release them so you can move on and create positive change.

Forgiveness is vital now for yourself and others. If someone has disappointed you, find it within your heart to forgive that person (for you, not them!), and release yourself from the disappointment.

Shift your mindset and focus on what can go right from this point onwards.

Ask the Tarot: What can I learn from my mistakes?

The card drawn for this full moon is the Six of Pentacles.

Are you sharing your wealth and abundance with others? You have accumulated wealth (financially or otherwise), and enjoy the good feelings associated with helping others.

Even if you are not financially wealthy, you might offer up your time, energy, love and support to those who are in need, knowing it will be appreciated. Giving of your time or your wisdom is often just as spiritually fulfilling as giving away money or gifts, and the intangible gift of your presence is received just as well, if not better.

Trust that every contribution you make is valued and will come back to you threefold.

Ask the Tarot: How can I create a healthy exchange of energy with others?

The Full Moon occurs on Sunday, March 28th, when the Sun in Aries forms an opposition to the Libra Moon. It’s a time of culmination and the promise of fulfillment of something begun at the New Moon. Heightened emotions, romance, fertilization, relationship drama, and epiphanies are themes. The Libra Full Moon on March 28/29 carries some beautiful, high-powered energies for healing, protection, and harmony.

At the time of this Libra Full Moon, Venus, Chiron, and the Sun will all be aligned. The Moon will also make a perfect triangle configuration to both Saturn and Mars, known as a Grand Trine. Furthermore, this Full Moon will be nice and close to Earth, not quite a Super Moon but pretty close to one! A new chapter, a new zodiac wheel has started, and this Full Moon is supporting us to let go of all that we no longer need to carry and to create space for new energies to unfold.

When we first started this zodiac cycle back in March of 2020, the world was a different place. We have all changed. We have all evolved and grown. We have all had new experiences that have shaped and moved us, and this Full Moon is our chance to acknowledge and release all that no longer needs to be with us.

The Libra energy of this Full Moon also supports us in finding a balance between the old state of what once was and the new state of what could be, and the grace and discernment that is needed to either hold on or let go.

The presence of Chiron and Venus along with the Sun also colors the energy of this Full Moon. Chiron is an asteroid known as the wounded healer. It represents the wounds that we come into this life with and the wounds we inherit along the way. These wounds are not the sort that ever passes, rather they are the ones that are forever stitched into the fabric of our journey. While these wounds injure us, they also serve to make us whole and can be viewed as a key part of our soul journey.  It is these wounds that give us the compassion, the strength, and the wisdom to rise up into a new power, and into a truer and more authentic version of ourselves. It is through transcending these wounds that we are able to heal and inspire not just ourselves, but also those around us.

Chiron is currently in Aries, reminding us that this is not a time to lick our wounds but rather, to allow them to serve as fuel to help us rise up into our inner warrior. The presence of Venus in this alignment of planets also softens the energy, reminding us that our rising can happen in our own time, in our own way, and from a place of love. This combination of energy is soft and sensitive, allowing us to open to the truth of who we are. We are perfect just as we are; we deserve to be accepted just as we are.

The Aries-Libra polarity is a relationship axis, where Aries represents “self,” and Libra represents “other.” Where Aries is about self-assertion, Libra is about compromise. With the Libra Moon, we’re especially aware of our need for relationships and all that comes with maintaining them — compromising, negotiating, graciousness, and balancing. The Aries Sun, on the other hand, is self-assertive, leading, and personally courageous.

This Full Moon urges us to strike a balance between meeting our personal needs and attending to the needs of a significant other, and between independence or autonomy and dependence or companionability. The Libra Moon is diplomatic, equality-focused, and fair-minded. The Aries Sun values authenticity over tact and is energized by independent efforts. The Full Moon illuminates this conflict.

Relationship epiphanies occur now. We’re likely to experience revelations about our independence, need for others, and partnerships. Venus aligns with the Sun in this moon, and Venus rules the Libra Moon, making this configuration particularly useful for resolving conflicts. Saturn is trine the North Node, Mars is conjunct the North Node, and Saturn harmonizes with the Sun and Moon. There can be helpful interactions with superiors or with older or more experienced people, and benefits can come as a result. There can be a choice to structure, limit, or simplify our lives in a significant way that leads to major improvements. We’re a little more careful and conservative now, but we’re also up for a challenge if it means we’re growing and learning.

This phase of the Moon occurs at 8 degrees and 18 minutes of Libra, affecting people with personal planets and points at 4 to 12 degrees of the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) most significantly. Think of this March Full Moon as a graduation point, and a time to celebrate all you have achieved and all you have become.

It’s the first full moon of the new astrological year.

It’s been a busy month in the stars, and we’ll be wrapping it all up with the powerful March 2021 full moon on March 28. This is the first full moon of the new astrological year, making it feel like an extra special cosmic climax that’s worthy of celebrating. Knowing how the March 2021 full moon will affect your zodiac sign can help you get in the lunar zone and make the most of it.

March’s full moon takes place in the diplomatic and social sign of Libra. That said, this is a great moon for examining the dynamics within your closest relationships and communicating openly about your interpersonal issues. As the cardinal air sign of the zodiac, Libra’s energy inspires us to smooth over any disagreements. Put all your issues out into the open and allow the full moon’s graceful Libran energy guide you toward a resolution.

Prepare for some big emotions to come out in love during this moon, as the full moon will be in a friction-filled opposition aspect to love planet Venus and wounded-healer Chiron — which could further emphasize the tensions within our close relationships. Focus on finding a middle path between your desires and other people’s — and read on to find out how the March 2021 full moon will affect you, based on your zodiac sign.

This is a busy and social full moon for you, Leo, and you’ll be making fun and flirty connections everywhere you turn. Talk through any issues that arise within your relationships. If Your Zodiac Sign Is Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) Sun, Rising, Moon

Let’s get luxurious, Virgo. This full moon is shining a spotlight on your financial situation and inspiring you to balance your bank account — whether by saving or spending. But if you’ve been wise with your pennies, perhaps this is a cosmic sign that it’s time to splurge on something indulgent.

Find your light and stay true to it — because if you can’t be your authentic self, how will you show up for others?

If Your Zodiac Sign Is Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) Sun, Rising, Moon

This moon is asking you to take a break from work, giving your body and mind some much-needed time to rest. If you’re trying to manifest your intentions when it comes to love, work, or personal goals, it can be helpful to get in touch with your spiritual side, Scorpio. You’ll be able to easily spot issues and weak spots, so use your awareness to play the mediator and smooth over any issues.

If Your Zodiac Sign Is Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) Sun, Rising, Moon

Let’s get down to business, Capricorn. You’ve been deep in your feelings this week, but the full moon will shift your focus onto your professional life and help to boost your standing. Use your people skills to make a good impression on your bosses and form alliances with your colleagues. Your presence is powerful, and your talents will be on display for all to see.

If Your Zodiac Sign Is Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) Sun, Rising, Moon

A constantly busy schedule makes it hard to pencil in time for brand new endeavors, like taking a class or booking a vacation. But this moon will inspire you to take charge of your aspirations, get spontaneous, and turn life into an adventure. Your large-scale dreams have value, Aquarius — even if at first, it doesn’t seem like you have room to accomplish them in your everyday life. Make it happen.

If Your Zodiac Sign Is Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) Sun, Rising, Moon

This full moon is all about boundaries for you, Pisces. It’s easy for lines to get blurry within your partnerships — whether that’s because of your personal life bleeding into work responsibilities or your feelings becoming too entwined in someone else’s. Now’s your chance to step back and set some boundaries that’ll protect your vulnerability and make your relationships stronger. Speak your truth.

The card drawn for this week is the Tower reversed. This week, the Tower reversed suggests that you are undergoing a significant personal transformation and upheaval.

You’re instigating change and calling into question your fundamental belief systems, values, purpose, and meaning. You may go through a spiritual awakening as you discover a new path.

Your beliefs and opinions about important topics may change as you realize that you can no longer support old beliefs. You may be in denial that change is occurring, or maybe you’re clinging to an old belief system, even if you know it’s no longer relevant or healthy for you.Even though you probably don’t want to go through it, this challenging time will help you learn a valuable lesson and make progress in your life.

You are creating change and transformation so you can step into a new and evolved version of yourself.

Ask the Tarot: How can I embrace this transformation? And don’t forget: we are in Pisces Season. What do you need to let go of?

On March 13th, 2021 we have a New Moon at 23° Pisces. Welcome to this Pisces New Moon, which opens the void to the place of unlimited potential in the final sign of the zodiac. This fact actually slightly changes the flavor of this New Moon, making it one asking us not just about what we want to call into our lives…but also what we are willing to let go of. As the ruler of the 12th house, Pisces always draws us into a cycle of completion, and this New Moon is no different.

Pisces is ruled by 2 planets, Jupiter (the traditional ruler) and Neptune (the modern ruler). Both Jupiter and Neptune can tell us a great deal about the nature of Pisces. Jupiter is associated with knowledge, faith, and optimism. Jupiter is here to teach us that if we have faith, follow the walked path, and connect with something greater than ourselves, then things automatically work in our favor.

People who follow the signs, notice the patterns, see the big picture, eventually receive Jupiter’s blessings. That’s how Jupiter works. Neptune goes one step further. Neptune doesn’t give clear hints, or at least, he’s not as literal as Jupiter.

Neptune’s messages are cryptic. Neptune may come into your dreams. It may ‘speak’ to you through your feelings, or intuition. Neptune’s messages are never clear, and before bashing Neptune and saying he’s confusing/deceiving, let’s try to understand how Neptune ‘works’.

Neptune’s intention is NOT to deceive you. Neptune is the planet of unconditional love – if anything, Neptune loves you and wishes you well. But let’s not forget that Neptune is an outer planet, invisible to the eye. Neptune’s ‘realities’ are not easy to grasp with our 3-D brain, but this doesn’t mean they are less ‘real’, less true, or less important.

Pisces rules all that cannot be seen in this world by our two physical eyes, or through the scientific use of our senses. As such it pushes us to see our true nature, which is energy. For some that is a lot of take in, and can definitely shatter the illusion of Maya (or ignorance) that shrouds us. For when we see, and come to trust ourselves we notice that we have a whole lot more to us that this physical body, our society, education system etc lets on.

There’s an important point in all of that. Thanks to the overemphasis on science, ego, and the masculine (in its paternal form), most of us have forgotten the magic that lives in our bodies. That lineage of connection to the land, to spirit and to our ancestors has been slowly and surely removed to make way for what we are taught to believe is ‘real’….but is in fact just ignorance in the form of mistrust and fear

This is a New Moon to lay seeds of intention to grow in the energetic realm. This allows you to re-awaken the magic that lies within and all around you. It’s important to note with this energy, that even when we head into the land of the subconscious + etheric, the ego still lives here too. As long as there is a sense of separation, we must be aware that there is ego. What I’m trying to say is that this Moon isn’t about you realizing your individual ’specialness’ but rather honoring the ‘specialness’ in all.

This new moon is also part of a powerful stellium of planets in the sign of Pisces — as the sun, moon, Venus, and Neptune will all be clustered together within just a few degrees of each other at this time amplifying the Piscean power. This moon asks us to surrender to our feelings and look at life with an added dose of idealism, romanticism, and dreaminess.

Pisces  is ruled by  Jupiter (ancient ruler), Neptune (modern ruler). These are all still themes in the life of a Pisces, but with a twist: Neptune, the modern ruler of Pisces, is associated with dreams, psychic receptivity, illusion, and deception. It’s a uniquely two-sided planet, representing the dual nature of Pisces

Pay attention to your dreams, inspirations and any serendipitous events – and more than ever, let your imagination guide you to create exciting possibilities that are unique to you and your mission.

Overall, the March New Moon is a beautiful one and will set us up for a highly creative lunar cycle.

Use this energy over the coming weeks to manifest and dream, for creative projects, and to explore new realms of your own intuition and consciousness. And since this is a new moon, ask yourself “what do you need to let go of”?

And don’t forget your new moon abundance check ! Do this every new moon.

New Moon Abundance Check: 1.) Within 24-48 hours after a New Moon, take a check
from your check book.  Where it says “Pay to,” write your name.

2.) In the little box on the same line where you would fill in a dollar amount write
“Paid in full.”

3.) On the line underneath your name, where you would write out a dollar amount, write “Paid in full.”

4.) Sign the check: “The Law of Abundance” Under the signature line, write “Thank You” (I write Thank You on all the checks I write, on the Abundance checks it’s already there for you!!!)

5.) Leave the date blank (or you can date it with a specific date that you “believe” this amount will come to you.)

6.) Many times we have beliefs with in our sub conscious mind that thinks we don’t deserve something. You can leave the specific amount open or to try this out, use a dollar amount you are comfortable receiving… perhaps $500 (who couldn’t use an extra $500)?

7.) Put it in a safe place and forget about it. The Universe will take it from there.
(Get out of the HOW)

Later (after 2 weeks or longer) you can burn (or tear it up and flush it down the toilet if fire is not an option) the check on one of the upcoming full moons, expressing Gratitude for receiving abundance in your life while the check is burning.

Endings always bring new beginnings, and that’s definitely the vibe under the March 2021 new moon, which takes place on March 13. As the last major moon of the winter season, it’s here to remind us that we’re at the end of a cycle. But because new moons are all about new beginnings, this sense of closure simultaneously opens us up to a fresh start, too. Knowing how the March 2021 new moon will affect your zodiac sign can help you make the most of this special cosmic moment.

This month’s new moon reset takes place in the watery realm of Pisces, and it serves as the pinnacle of Pisces season 2021’s transcendent energy. We’ll all be swimming in sentimentality and getting lost in the dreamy haze of our imaginations, which makes it a great time for expressing your emotions through art, music, or poetry. This new moon is also part of a powerful stellium of planets in the sign of Pisces — as the sun, moon, Venus, and Neptune will all be clustered together within just a few degrees of each other at the time of this lunation, amplifying the Piscean power. This new moon asks us to surrender to our feelings and look at life with an added dose of idealism, romanticism, and dreaminess.

As we prepare to wrap up the cold winter season and embark on the brighter days of spring, this new moon in Pisces puts us in a deeply spiritual and other-worldly state of mind. While it may not be a helpful energy for setting super tangible goals, it’ll be a game-changer when it comes to getting you in touch with your fantasies and those are still something to build toward, even if they don’t sound realistic on paper.

Aries (March 21 – April 19) Set some spiritual goals for yourself under this new moon, Aries. Start by asking yourself what makes you feel interconnected with the mystical aspects of life — perhaps that involves doing manifestation rituals with crystals, attending a religious service, or simply taking a quiet walk in nature. Whatever it is that makes you feel like you’re part of something bigger, lean into it.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20) What are the causes most meaningful to you, Taurus? This new moon is lighting up your altruistic side, so it’s a great time to get more involved with a social justice issue that’s close to your heart. If joining a group or scheduling a volunteer session doesn’t line up with your schedule right now, just practice some random acts of kindness. A simple favor from a stranger could set off a domino effect of positivity.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20) The new moon is bringing you a fresh start within your career, so think long and hard about whether you’re currently sailing in the direction of your professional dreams. If so, now’s a time to capitalize on the forward-flowing energy and make creative strides. But if not, then visualize what your dream job looks like and find small ways to start manifesting that into your reality.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22) Anything is possible under this new moon, Cancer. So instead of worrying about all the intricate details of your plans, lean into your imagination and allow yourself to visualize your big-picture goals without limits. Do you want to travel the world? Learn how to astral project? Forget about what’s practical or logical — simply give yourself a chance to believe in your dreams and watch things begin to unfold.

Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22) This new moon sets you off on a deeply personal journey of self-discovery and transformation, Leo. The emotional energy will put you deep in your feelings, making it important to surround yourself with people you trust and are comfortable being vulnerable with. By creating a space where you can get real, bare your soul, and explore your shadow side, you’ll naturally begin to shed old skins and become a more authentic version of yourself.

Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22) A new relationship cycle is beginning for you, Virgo, and you have an opportunity to clean your slate in love and deepen your closest connections. Allow the walls you’ve built up around your heart to come crumbling down now — because hiding your true feelings from the ones you love isn’t serving anyone’s highest good. Your partnerships have the power to be transcendental, so either go all in or pull out to make room for something that’s real.

Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22) Resist the urge to revamp your to-do list for the fifth time under this new moon, Libra — because the lunar energy is asking you to lean into a more self-care routine instead. Having dedicated time in your schedule to daydream, pamper yourself, and prioritize your wellness is just as important as having time to get work done. So use this vibe to turn over a new leaf when it comes to taking better care of yourself.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21) Everything is coming up roses under this new moon, Scorpio, so give your playful side a chance to shine. This is the perfect moment to launch a new passion project, jump into a flirty fling, or take up an artistic hobby that’ll help you express your many deep emotions. Forget about your responsibilities for a few days and loosen up — it’s time to revel in the gorgeous influx of creative inspiration and romantic energy that’s flowing in your direction.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21) You can’t run from the past forever, Sag — but when you finally face it, you’ll have a chance to create a brighter future. This new moon is a beautiful time to deal with some of the emotional baggage you’ve been carrying around in relation to your home or family life. The gentle lunar energy is making all of us feel more sentimental, so call a beloved family member or commit to letting bygones be bygones. Once you do, you’ll feel more free.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19) You’re not usually one to babble on about your emotions, Cap, but this new moon in sentimental Pisces is asking you to start putting your feelings into words. You have a chance to start building more meaningful connections in your daily life by opening up your heart to the people around you. Instead of trying to be stoic, wear your empathy on your sleeve and show others that being vulnerable takes great strength.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)As a mentally-focused air sign, it’s easy to try to quantify your feelings with thoughts and logic. But this new moon will challenge you to get out of your head and into your body. Instead of trying to conceptualize your emotions, your task is to feel them physically. Where is the sensation of tension or stress? Where are the feel-good tingles? Learning to listen to your body’s signals will up your emotional intelligence, so get practicing.

Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20) Happy new moon of Pisces season to all our mystical fish friends! This lunation marks the beginning of a significant shift in your identity, Pisces, so get ready for an emotional reset that’ll rock your work. You’re getting in touch with your dreams, your values, your desires, and your feelings in an entirely new way now, and you might feel inspired to make some changes in your life. Don’t be afraid to embrace your authentic self, even if that person feels different than the person you were yesterday. Every day is a new evolution.

TAROT CARD OF THE WEEK

The card drawn for this week is the King of Cups. This week it’s important for you to be in control of your emotions, relying on emotional intelligence to get you through. With the emotional mastery of the King of Cups, when life throws you a curve ball, you can draw on your emotional maturity and stability to help you navigate challenges. You don’t let things get to you, and you steer clear of the drama, instead choosing an emotionally balanced and calm approach.

If you’re being challenged personally, remember to stay in control of your emotions. When faced with negative energy from others, be firm on your personal boundaries, stating what is and is not acceptable on an emotional level. Use your intellect to make smart decisions and don’t let other circumstances sway you from your beliefs and morals. Stay true to your emotions and feelings and don’t allow others to steer you off course. Ask the Tarot: How can I create a greater balance between my head and my heart?

Upright Wheel of Fortune

The Wheel of Fortune reminds you that the wheel is always turning and life is in a state of constant change. If you’re going through a difficult time rest assured that it will get better from here. Good luck and good fortune will make their return in time. Similarly, if things are going well, know this, too, will change and life may return to ‘normal’ soon. This cycle shows why it is so important to cherish the blissful moments in your life and make the most of them while they are within reach – because in a flash they could be gone.

The Wheel of Fortune is also known as the wheel of karma and reminds you that ‘what goes around comes around.’ Be a kind and loving person to others, and they’ll be kind and loving to you. Be nasty and mean, and you will get nasty and mean turning back your way. So, if you want happiness and abundance, make sure you’re sending out that positive juju in kind. What you send out into the Universe will come back your way.

The Wheel of Fortune card asks you to be optimistic and have faith that the Universe will take care of your situation in the best way possible. Meditation and visualization can reinforce your intention to bring increased abundance, good fortune and prosperity to you. Your life is about to turn in more positive directions if you are willing to grow and expand. Keep your mind open to all kinds of synchronicity and signs from the Universe. The magic of fate and destiny is behind you, and miracles are happening.

Be open to the help of others, too, as guidance from both the physical and spiritual realms is supporting you along your journey. They want you to do well, so relish their support right now. Call on them any time you need it. You may also feel compelled to work with the archangels and ascended masters to support and guide you.

If you are someone who likes to have control and stability, then the Wheel of Fortune may come as a shock to the system. This Tarot card suggests that factors outside your control are influencing your situation. It is as though the Universe is dishing up whatever it pleases; it’s unpredictable and unnerving. This is one of the challenging aspects of the Wheel of Fortune since no matter which way the Wheel turns, it is impossible to try to change it. You need to accept what is happening and adapt. Go with the flow!

Finally, the Wheel of Fortune can show a critical turning point in your life. Opportunities you could never imagine are suddenly available to you, and you have the chance to make a significant change in your life. While it may be unexpected and unfamiliar, see this as an invitation to turn things around and take an entirely new direction in your life. The more you tune in to your intuition and allow the Universe to guide you, the better the outcomes will be.

Reversed Wheel of Fortune

When the Wheel of Fortune is reversed, your luck and fortune may take a turn for the worst. You may experience unexpected change or negative forces could be at play, leaving you helpless. You have a choice: you can do nothing and hope things will get better, or you can act to improve your situation. See this moment as your opportunity to take control of your destiny and get your life back on track.

Changing your destiny starts with accepting responsibility for where you are now. Consider what role your earlier actions have played in your present circumstances. Even when you think everything is beyond your control, there is often something you could have done differently that might have changed where you are now. What can you learn from this situation and how can you apply it to your future life, so you don’t end up making the same mistakes?

The reversed Wheel of Fortune can also reflect resistance to change, particularly if you feel it forced upon you. This card suggests that change has become a source of significant stress, and you may be trying to consciously or subconsciously stop events from running their course. Accept that change is inevitable and you will have a much-improved experience when you can go with the flow.

On the positive side, the reversed Wheel of Fortune might mean that you are finally breaking a negative cycle that has been present in your life. Perhaps you have realized how your actions have created a repetitive situation and are now ready to break free from the cycle. For some, this may flow naturally following a period of introspection and self-discovery. For others, things may need to hit rock bottom before you are ready to see what is no longer serving you (especially if the Devil or Tower is in your reading).
